Make plans today for UM Men's Congress!

The school that produced the first and last men to walk on the moon, Purdue University in West Lafayette, will be the site for an out-of-this-world spiritual event for United Methodists from around the world.

"If they've never attended one, the experience is astronomical," said NIC United Methodist Men's President Brent Julian of the UM Men's Congress at Purdue University July 13-15.

To help boost attendance from Indiana churches, the men are providing a special offer. For $60, two people can attend for the Saturday session.

Tony Campolo, a nationally renowned author, speaker and evangelist, will be the keynote speaker at the event. Other speakers include Rep. Tom Osborne, R-Nebraska, former University of Nebraska football coach; Dr. Maxie Dunnam, president of Asbury Seminary; Woodie W. White, bishop of the Indiana Area of the United Methodist Church; and Dr. Kenneth Wyatt, artist, evangelist and motivational speaker.

Interested participants can call their district or conference presidents to get a sign up form. And they'll even explain to you how to fill it out. "We'll call until we finally make a connection," said Julian.
