Sharing, supporting, and serving with one another" will be the theme of the 2001 South Indiana Annual Conference. The conference will be held from Thursday, June 7 through Saturday, June 9 on the campus of Indiana University, Bloomington at the IU Auditorium.
Late registration and conference packets will be distributed in the IU auditorium foyer from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. The 9 a.m. Opening Plenary Session, will be followed by a 10:45 a.m. Memorial Service. There will be a new highlight at this year's All Conference Dinner. Indiana's own First Lady, Judy O'Bannon, will discuss Celebrating our Diversity. Then after the evening plenary session, our traditional Jazz Band & Ice Cream Social will round out the evening beginning at 9:30 p.m. Several luncheons will be held throughout the conference. Highlights will be the three Spiritual Formation luncheon workshops held: two on Thursday and one on Friday. The Native American luncheon on Friday will feature Marilyn Haun, a Cherokee grandmother.
