Has God ever spoken to you through
intuition?
William Ewan
Mt. Sinai UMC
Lawrenceburg
|
Yes. I think especially in
hiking the Appalachian Trail with my partner, with opportunities of choice
of what to do. I feel that something pushes me to make the right decision. I
recall one time we decided in the afternoon to stop at a campground, even
though the weather was great. That night there was a huge storm, and it was
fortuitous we had stopped.
I've done 1,600 miles of the trail, and often feel that I am being guided. |

Yes, he speaks to me more
in that manner than my hearing him guiding me directly in what he wants me
to do. I recall one Christmas Eve, my daughter and husband were coming from
South Carolina. We tried to reach them beforehand on the phone several
times, we felt God nudging us that something was wrong. Getting no answer,
we called another relative in South Carolina who discovered they were
suffering from fumes in the house. Our daughter and her husband were rushed
to the hospital to recover. |

God speaks to us in many
ways. My son was in the World Trade Center in New York City the morning of
the disaster (Sept. 11), but left about thirty minutes before it happened. I
feel grief for all who were there. God has given me this blessing. |

Oh, yes. Not often. It
happens more times when I have difficulty in making a decision, or I feel
totally lost. When I feel I get the answer, I believe it's intuition or
divine guidance. |

Not really. I feel God speaks to my heart clearly with definite
messages. I believe intuition is something everyone has, but people who
want to hear from God need to know Jesus Christ and to know Jesus' Word. |
