Camping ministries thankful for volunteers and manure spreader

MARION, Ind. -- Nick Yarde, NIC Outdoor Ministries associate director, celebrates an increase in the number of volunteers for the 2004 season. Last year the ministry had 24 local church volunteers and has 65 already this year, most of which are local church pastors.

Pine Creek Camp staff is thanking God for a new manure spreader. With the new facility for sheltering the horses came the need for a manure spreader that could be driven through the barn and filled. Camping personnel say God came through with not just any old manure spreader but a brand new one that is perfect for a horse farm, donated by Plevna Implement of Kokomo. Basil and Liz at Pine Creek rejoice in their new equipment, which will allow them to continue to spread the good news through ranch camps.
