Committee invites artist to submit artwork for June conference
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The South Indiana Annual Conference Session Committee invites area artists to submit original artwork for the 2004 Annual Conference at Indiana University in Bloomington. The designs will appear on the cover of the 2004 Conference Journal and as a banner during the 2004 Annual Conference Session.
The theme for the 2004 Annual Conference is "God is Good, All the Time and All the Time, God is Good" from Romans 8:23. Submissions need to reflect the theme for this year's conference in two different proposals:
Artists need to submit a black and white line art, or print-ready rendition of a cover art design for the Pre-Conference Journal and the Annual Conference Journal. Samples of designs and artwork used in previous Conference journals can be found in most local church libraries or church offices.
The second submitted design is full color art, suitable for a banner, with the same theme as the journal cover. The banner design will be used on the Indiana University Auditorium stage as background for many of the conference sessions. Keep the submitted designs to 8 « x 11 inches or 11 x 14 inches in size.
All submissions are to be mailed by Feb. 12 to: Annual Conference Session Committee, 6145 North 400 West, Fairland, Ind. 46126-6145. All submissions become the property of the Annual Conference Session Committee, unless accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope. The artist chosen will be notified by mail on or before March 15.
