Baton Rouge evacuees
set up in trailers

FEMA has set up trailer communities in one of the smaller rural areas outside
Baton Rouge for evacuees from the hurricanes. Housing is one of the biggest
issues facing Louisiana in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. United Methodist
leaders meet with Louisiana religious leaders Oct. 28 to discuss ways to help
ecumenically. |
