Deaths

MARY BRITTAIN, widow of the late Rev. Walter House (NIC), died Dec. 26, 2005. A memorial service was held Dec. 29. Memorials can be given to the Timbercrest Senior Living Community, 2201 East St., North Manchester, IN 46962 or to the North Manchester UMC, 306 E. Second St., North Manchester, IN 46962. GAYLE CORRINGTON, widow of the late Rev. John Corrington (NIC), died Dec. 26, 2005. A memorial Service was held on Jan. 2, 2006 at the Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston, Ind. Survivors include: Son, Andrew Corrington, 13162 Severn Way, Fishers, IN 46038.

STEPHEN DAVIS, son of the late Rev. John Davis (NIC) and Lois Davis, died Jan. 11, 2006. A memorial service was held Jan. 14 at the Calvary UMC in Syracuse, Ind. Condolences can be sent to Lois Davis, P.O. Box 501, North Manchester, IN 46962-0501.

PATRICIA JACKSON, mother of Barbara Lash and mother-in-law of the Rev. Evan Lash (NIC), died Jan. 10, 2006. A memorial service was held Jan. 14 at Trinity UMC in Lapel, Ind., with the Rev. ORIS JOHNSON, father of the Rev. Sharon Taylor, pastor of Fairview UMC in Randolph County (NIC), died Jan. 30. A memorial service was held at Thronburg's Funeral Home in Parker City, Ind. Survivors include: Daughter, the Rev. Sharon Taylor, 9686 W 900 S, Redkey, IN 47373-9368 (joeltaylor@jayco.net) ; and two sons, Larry and Jerry.

PAULINE MAE THOMPSON, widow of the late Rev. John Napier Thompson (SIC), died Dec. 27, 2005. A memorial service was held Dec. 31 at the Gill Funeral Home in Washington, Ind., with burial at Sugarland Memorial Gardens. Survivors include: Daughters, Norma Goodpaster and Nancy Norris; Son, Chester Thompson; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

WALTER C. WILLIAMS, retired pastor (SIC), died Jan. 12, 2006. A memorial service was held at the Tyson UMC in Versailles, Ind., with burial at Longs Chapel UMC in Sullivan, Ind. Survivors include: Daughters, Wilma Jane Williams, P.O. Box 326, Versailles, IN 47042, and Judy Hill; son; Larry Williams; and two grandchildren.

LOLA WITWER, mother of the Rev. Brian Witwer (NIC), died Jan. 3, 2006. Witwer's address is 6027 W. Hills Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46804-6361 (bwitwer@aldersgatecommunity.com).
