Deaths

ICA CASEY, widow of the late Rev. Dahlgren E. Casey (SIC), died Dec. 16, 2005. A memorial service was held Dec. 20 at Washington Park East in Indianapolis with burial at Washington Park East. Survivors include: Sons, John T. Casey, 8410 Oaktree Dr., Rensselaer, IN 47978 and Henry D. Casey, and three grandchildren.

PEARL ELLIS, widow of the late Rev. William Ellis (SIC), died Jan. 1, 2006. A memorial service was held Jan. 4 at Community United Methodist Church in Vincennes, Ind., with burial at Greene County Chapel. Survivors include: son, Doyle Ellis, 1509 McKinney, Apt. 3, Vincennes, IN 47591; daughter, June Rodarmel; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

LOUIS HASKELL, retired pastor (NIC), died Dec. 29, 2005. A memorial service was held Jan. 3, 2006 at the First Wayne Street United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne, Ind. Survivors include his wife Luana Haskell. Condolences can be sent to Luana Haskell, 4730 Oak Creek Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46835-4283.

MARTHA HURST, mother-in-law of the Rev. Jim Abbott (NIC), died Nov. 21, 2005. A memorial service was held Nov. 25 at the Hippensteel Funeral Home in Lafayette. Jim and Ginger Abbott's address is 5073 E. CR 400 S., Logansport, IN 46947. Abbott serves the Anoka UMC in the Kokomo District.

CHARLES LANE, retired pastor (NIC), died Dec. 11, 2005. A memorial service was held Dec. 15 at the Rosedale Hills UMC in Indianapolis. Surviving: Wife, Catherine; sons, Larry, Terry and Allan; daughter, Jana Kea. He also had one daughter who preceded him in death, Cheryl Nordby. Condolences may be sent to Catherine Lane, 1135 Wren Dr., Franklin, IN 46131-2291. Memorials can be given to the Franklin United Methodist Community, Alzheimer Special Care Unit, 1070 W. Jefferson, Franklin, IN 46131-2199.

VIOLET LITTRELL, widow of the Rev. Wilburt M. Littrell (NIC), died Nov. 20, 2005. A memorial service was held Nov. 25 at Wesley Manor in Frankfort, Ind. Survivors include: her daughters, Martha Littrell Moore, Mary Littrell Bales, and Esther Littrell Wilson; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Condolences may be sent to Esther Littrell Wilson, 890 Woodland Ave., Corydon, IN 47112.

VIVIAN MILLER, the wife of retired clergy the Rev. W. Dale Miller (SIC), died Nov. 21, 2005. A memorial service was held Nov. 26 at Northview Christian Church in Carmel, Ind. Survivors include: husband, the Rev. W. Dale Miller; daughters, Andrea and Kathy; and a grandson. Memorials can be made to the building funds of Lawrence UMC or Northview Christian Church.

VIOLA MOLOCH, Nancy Dale's mother, spouse of the Rev. Kent Dale of Hanna UMC (NIC), died Dec. 1, 2005 at Sycamore Village Health Care Center. A memorial service was held Dec. 6 at First Church of the Nazarene, 2734 S. Washington, Kokomo IN 46902. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Sharon Moloch, Robert and Nancy Moloch, all of Kokomo, and Samuel G. and Marianne Moloch, Rochester; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Bill Maas, Iroquis, S.D., and Nancy and the Rev. Kent Dale.; 13 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene and/or Alzheimer's Unit of Sycamore Village Health Care Center.

M. CASSELL RICH, father-in-law of the Rev. Chris Nunley (NIC), died Nov. 21, 2005. A memorial service was held Nov. 26 at the Ford St. UMC in Lapel, Ind. Condolences can be send to Chris and Peggy Nunley, 665 Windy Oak Ct., Hebron, IN 46341. Nunley serves as pastor of Lake of the Four Seasons UMC in the Calumet District.

JOHN W. STALIONS, retired pastor (NIC), died, Dec. 13, 2005. A private memorial service is scheduled for today, Dec. 16 at the Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, Ind. Memorials can be given for Gideon Bibles. Memorials and condolences may be sent to Carol Short, 778 Winter Court, Carmel, IN 46032 or memorials may be given to your local Gideon Society. Burial was at the Carmel Cemetery in Carmel, Ind. Surviving is his daughter, Carol Short, and a son, Philip Stalions.

JOHN W. WARD, JR., retired pastor (NIC), died Nov. 28, 2005. A memorial service was held on Dec. 3 at the Resurrection United Methodist Church in Durham, NC. Survivors include: his wife, Carmen; and two sons, Scott and Mark. Memorials may be given to the Resurrection UMC, 4705 Old Chapel Hill Rd., Durham, NC 27707.

CHARLES A. WILLIAMS, retired pastor (NIC), died Nov. 18, 2005. A memorial service was Tues., Nov. 22 at Community UMC in Vincennes, Ind. Survivors include: Wife, Mary Jane; and a son, Brad. Memorials can be given to the Community UMC, Vincennes. Condolences may be sent to Mary Jane Williams, 2214 Jerry St., Vincennes, IN 47591.

VELMA WILSON, widow of the late Rev. Harold Wilson (NIC), died Nov. 22, 2005. A memorial service was held Nov. 27 in Hartford City, Ind. They had eight children. Condolences may be sent to Ruth Turner, P. O. Box 421, Pennville, IN 47369.
