Resource explains importance of being a disciple of Jesus Christ

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The General Board of Discipleship has re-launched an evangelism resource called the Pathways to Christ series.

The series consists of four tracts designed to invite people to know and follow Jesus Christ in clear, non-churchy language.

Each tract sells in packets of 25 and may be customized with information about a local church or ministry. One packet of 25 costs $10 or $8.50 each for bulk quantities of ten.

The Pathways to Christ series was written by Mitchell Williams, Wesley S.K. Daniel, Craig Kennet Miller and Safiyah Fosua. Titles include:

  • Begin with Jesus - introduces the concepts of Christian love, spirituality, and discipleship. (Also available in Spanish, Hacia una nueva vida en Cristo.)

  • Understanding My Faith Journey with Christ - expands the ideas about what it means to be a person of faith from the Wesleyan perspective.

  • Gifted in Christ - helps you take a look in the mirror of faith to see who God has created you to be and how you should use your gifts in ministry and in life.

  • Learning New Habits - focuses on the means of grace and how these inform our entire life, lifestyle, decision-making, and relationships.

The General Board of Discipleship's mission is to support annual conference and local church leaders for their task of equipping world-changing disciples. An agency of The United Methodist Church, The General Board of Discipleship is located in Nashville, Tenn.
