Bishop's 2007 Holy Land tour scheduled for February

In cooperation with Educational Opportunities Tours, Bishop Mike Coyner invites Indiana United Methodists to join him on a memorable trip to Israel in February 2007. This is a ten-day trip beginning on February 12.

The group will visit sites and cities in Israel including Bethlehem, Jericho, Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee and Jerusalem. In addition the group will have several opportunities to hear from Christians living and working in the Holy Land.

"I am excited to be able to go back to the Holy Land, and I look forward to sharing this experience with many of our Indiana colleagues. A trip to the Holy Land is more than a trip, it is a spiritual pilgrimage which changes lives and expands our understanding of the Bible," says Coyner.

Bishop Coyner extends an invitation to "come with me, experience the sites, sounds, and aromas of this amazing land. And, just as the desert sands will cling to your clothes and be carried home in the folds of your garments, so too will an excitement for and understanding of the life and time of Jesus."

For more information or brochures, contact any district office, the North Indiana Conference EO Coordinator Norm Nellis at 765-447-4152 or normgumc@aim.com or South Indiana Conference EO Coordinator Neal Partain.
