Two North Indiana districts plan VIM trip to Louisiana
The Warsaw and Michiana Districts have combined to bring this work camp opportunity Hoosier Methodists. Participants will be leaving early March 10 for Slidell, La. and will be working through UMCOR on site. Work will start on March 12 and continue through March 16. Current plans are to return by late night on March 17.
Travel will be done by car, which will help participants get to work sites in Slidell. Accommodations will either be in a church multi-purpose building or a volunteer dormitory. Several people are needed to cook for the team. Volunteers need to bring their own tools, toiletries and bedroll. Cost for the week will be $250.
