A late-breaking FREE excellent training opportunity for both clergy and lay persons alike has just become available this week. All laity and clergy are invited to attend the Kentuckiana Fall Conference on Problem Gambling and Counseling Training on Sept. 13-15 at the Riverfront Ramada Inn in Jeffersonville, Ind.

An unlimited number of scholarships are being offered by the Indiana and Kentucky Councils on Problem Gambling, sponsors of this Conference, for the full registration fee of $75. Therefore, anyone who would like to attend should e-mail the Kentucky Council’s Executive Director Mike Stone at kmstone@mis.net  requesting a scholarship for the Conference.

The Conference program is available at the Kentucky Council’s Web site at www.kycpg.org. Program times are Wednesday, Sept. 13 from 1 to 5 p.m.; Thursday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Friday, Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon (all Eastern Daylight Savings Time). Participants may register for all three days OR separately for one or two days.
