Disregard fake e-mail message using name of Indiana’s
Imlers
A fake e-mail was received in the Indiana Area United Methodist
Office today claiming to be a message from Donna Lou Imler.
Donna Lou Imler, who is active in mission work and Africa University in
the North Indiana Conference, has been in contact with Bishop Mike
Coyner to let him know this is a FAKE.
THIS IS A FAKE MESSAGE. If you receive it, do not answer this
message. It reads:

Subject: EMERGENCY!!!!!(I NEED YOUR HELP)
Calvary greetings to you how are you doing
today? i am writing to inform you about my traveling in West africa, it
came to me as an emergency call because my uncle who live here as
missionare is critically ill, and need family support, he is suffering
from prostate cancer and need surgery to keep him alive. the condition
is deteriorating and i want to transfer him abroad(California, USA) so
that he can have the surgery done there. with an ultra modern medical
facilities. I was wondering if you can help me with the sum of $2000, to
add to the one i have with me, to be able to pay for the airway bills,
and other medical items he will be needing during freight. promise to
pay back soon. pls respond to this email so that i will know the next
step to take, i dont want anything to happen to my uncle.
