January 1, 2008 DEATH NOTICE – SinerGERALDINE SINER, a retired Diaconal Minister (SIC) and widow of the late Rev. John Siner (NIC), died on Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after a lengthy illness. A memorial service is scheduled to be held at First United Methodist Church of Bloomington at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008. The service will be conducted by the Rev. George Purnell of First UMC, Bloomington and Bishop Michael Coyner. The Rev. John Siner was a clergy member of the North Indiana Conference who served on the staff of First UMC in Bloomington during retirement. Mrs. Siner was a retired Diaconal Minister of the North Indiana Conference and later the South Indiana Conference who also served on staff of First UMC in Bloomington.
