January 2, 2008 DEATH NOTICE – Siner, WorkmanGERALDINE SINER, former (NIC, SIC) Diaconal Minister and widow of the late Rev. John Siner (NIC), died Fri., Dec. 28, 2007. A memorial service is scheduled to be held on Thursday, Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. at First UMC, 219 E. 4th St., Bloomington, Ind., with burial at Clearcreek Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from Noon to 2 p.m. at First Church preceding the service. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Dr. George Purnell of First UMC, Bloomington and Bishop Michael J. Coyner. Survivors include: two daughters, Darla Siner, 4660 Happy Hollow Rd, Bloomington, IN 47408, and Kathy Siner; one son, John Timothy Siner; and one grandchild LILLIAN A. WORKMAN, widow of the late Rev. Wilbur Workman (NIC), died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 3 from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City, Ind. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. at the Columbia City UMC, 605 Forest Parkway, Columbia City, IN 46725, with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion, Ind. Survivors include: sons, Ted Daniel and Thomas Workman; daughter, Janice Conrad; 10 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pastor Wilbur E. Workman; and sisters, Katherine Lynn and Rhoda Crosby. Memorials can be given to the Columbia City UMC building fund. |
