Baker Chapel needs volunteers to drywall Life Center

The Baker Chapel United Methodist Church Life Center is under construction and ready for drywall. As we think back to Nov. 6, 2005 when a deadly tornado went through Degonia Springs, Ind., near Evansville, destroying the former church building, the construction of the church’s life center is indeed exciting news for this small rural community. More than 400 volunteers in 2006 helped rebuild the Baker Chapel building and many Hoosiers graciously said that they would like to come back and help with the life center project. That opportunity is now here.

If you have drywall experience and would like to volunteer, please contact Barbara Dillon, Baker Chapel Volunteer Coordinator, at 812-649-4863 or Greg Perigo at 812-480-7878. Upcoming work dates for drywall are: April 10, 11, 12 and April 17, 18, 19.

Thank you for your consideration in meeting this need.
