April 11, 2008 DEATH NOTICE – Carlton, SneedSAMUEL E. CARLTON, retired pastor (NIC), died Wednesday, April 10, 2008. Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E National Avenue, Brazil, Ind. A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 16 at Brazil First United Methodist Church, 201 N Meridian Street in Brazil, Ind., with visitation one hour before the service. Survivors include: Wife; Louise Carlton, 3211 E Moores Pike, Bloomington, IN, 47401; son, James Carlton of Brazil; daughters, Janet Anderson (Rev. Doug Anderson) and Joan Zimmerman of Muncie; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. EDWARD D. SNEED, father-in-law of the Rev. Kevin M. McKinney pastor of Methodist Temple UMC in Evansville (SIC) and father of Joyce McKinney, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at his home in Brooksville, Fla. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. ET, Monday, April 14 at Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison Street in Shelbyville, Ind. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. ET, Tuesday, April 15 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2315 S. Riley Highway, Shelbyville, Ind. 46176.
